“As a shipper of chocolates, confections, gummies during summer, we use cold packs with frozen gel packs to keep thoseitems from melting during transit. When the customer received both parcels, allproduct was melted and the gel packs were nice and cold by themselves in the parcel.”
“ Our entire container load was held up multiple times, with all sorts of inspections and testing and hassles because all of the importers and people at customs marked the paper work as "Taken Gold" instead of "Take the Gold" which as you can imagine, a boat carrying "Taken Gold" raises a few flags. We had to delay shipments almost 3 months while it was all sorted out that we were shipping card games and not in fact stolen bars of gold as was suspected. I've since started labeling shipments a bit differently!
As a one-man operation, I was on little sleep and struggling to keep up— packing orders every night and dropping them off at the post office every morning. After receiving an influx of emails from customers saying they had received the wrong product in their shipment, I examined my boxes of remaining inventory and realized I had been pulling orders from the WRONG box. "OH SHIP". I couldn't believe it. Lesson learned. (An expensive lesson, that is.)Submit Your Story
