Latest Version Includes Important User Enhancements for SmartFill™ Fulfillment Management System
LAS VEGAS – Rakuten Super Logistics, a global leader in e-commerce order fulfillment, today announced the Oct. 30 release of new updates to the user experience for cloud based fulfillment management system, SmartFill™. SmartFill™ is the industry-leading platform for outsourced e-commerce order fulfillment. With the new updates, e-commerce retailers will gain an optimized design and user experience, customized dashboards and reports, and the ability to remotely control how backorders are handled within the fulfillment centers. In addition, the new site responds to the increasing numbers of users viewing via smartphone and/or tablet devices with a mobile-friendly design.The new version of SmartFill will be released on Oct. 30 at 9:00 PM PST/Oct. 31 at 12:00 AM EST. During this time, the system will be briefly unavailable. The Company requests that users have all work submitted and be logged out of the system at this time to prevent any loss of data. It is expected that the updates will be completed by Oct. 30. at 9:15 PM PST/Oct. 31 at 12:15 AM EST.The SmartFill platform, which automatically routes each eTail order to the nearest Rakuten Super Logistics fulfillment center within the 2-Day Delivery Network, enables orders to be delivered as quickly and inexpensively as possible. The latest upgrades to the SmartFill platform now provide: Greater Control Over Backorders: Customers can now edit the items on backorders. This will give e-commerce retailers greater inventory control and allow orders to be completed more efficiently. Improved User Experience: The SmartFill site’s appearance has been changed to include an optimized design and new look. Each user will now have the ability to customize their dashboard to provide an optimized view of the information that is most pertinent to their business needs. Each dashboard can be customized quickly and easily through drag and drop widgets.The new responsive design accommodates smaller screens and is tablet friendly. The footer space provides users with quick access references and a customer support section. Increased Insight with Custom Reports: The SmartFill system now provides customers with the ability to create custom non-calculated reports. This option has been added in direct response to customer feedback and requests that were fulfilled on a special basis through the customer support department.
