This website, located at “Site”), is operated by Webgistix Corporation d/b/a Rakuten Super Logistics (“Rakuten SL,” “we”or “us”),part of the Rakuten Group, which includes the affiliates and subsidiariesof our parent company, Rakuten, Inc., based in Tokyo, Japan.

Rakuten SLprovides e-commerce shipping and fulfillment services (collectivelyreferred to as “Services”) to our business clientsand partners (“Clients”), who use our Services to provide e-commerceorder fulfillment services to their end users and customers (“ClientCustomers”).  In thecourse of providing our Services to our Clients, Rakuten SL receives andprocesses personal information such as delivery addresses and orderinformation, about Client Customers on behalf of our Clients.  As to this personal information we collectand use about Client Customers, we act as a Service Provider on behalf of ourClients and do not use, retain, or disclose this information except in relationto providing the Services to our Clients. Rakuten SL is not responsible for the privacy or security practices ofour Clients, which may differ from those set forth in this privacy policy, so pleasecheck with individual businesses of which you are a Client Customer about thepolicies they have in place to govern their collection, use, processing, andsharing of your personal information, and to exercise your consumer privacyrights under applicable privacy laws.  

This PrivacyPolicy explains how Rakuten SL collects,uses, and discloses personal information about you as a business on our ownbehalf, either as our Client or as a Site visitor, including when you use thisSite to discover information about Rakuten SL or to request a quote, or whenyou otherwise communicate with us.  ThisPrivacy Policy also explains your privacy rights in relation to your personalinformation and how you can exercise them.  As used in this policy, “personal information”means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capableof being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly orindirectly, with a particular consumer or household.

CustomerRecord Information such as your signature (on a contract), your telephonenumber, credit card or other payment information;

Professionalor employment-related information, including the company for which you workand your job title.

Information You Provide to Us Directly

We collectinformation you provide directly to us, such as when you fill out a form orotherwise submit, send, or provide your information to us yourself.    

Information We Collect Automatically

When you accessor use our Site, we automatically collect certain information about you,including:

Log and Device Information:  We systematicallycollect standard information related to your access to and use of the Site andthe device you used to access the Site, such as the type and version of your browserand operating system, access dates and times, pages viewed, IP address and thereferrer web page from which you linked to our Site.

Information Collected by Cookies and Similar TrackingTechnologies:  We (and our service providers and other thirdparties) may also use technologies like cookies (small data files related toyour Site visit that are stored on your hard drive or in device memory) and webbeacons (embedded electronic images that help deliver cookies and detect events) toautomatically collect information, for the purposes described in the nextsection. We may use allcategories of the information we collect about you for the business purposeslisted below:

To Provide our Site and Services - We use strictly necessary information that iscollected automatically to provide you our Site and a method for you to requestthat we contact you or provide you a quote for services. For Clients, we alsouse your collected information to provide our Services, maintain your accounts,send you invoices for services and process payments.

To Authenticate your Identity - We may use yourusername, password, and/or browser cookies to recognize you when you re-visitour Site or when you log in to our Client portal with your accountcredentials.  

To Communicate with You - We use your collected information like emailaddress, phone number or address to communicate with you if you requested aquote or other information, or if you signed up to receive our newsletter.  If you are a Client, we may contact regardingour Services in order to deliver transactional or service-relatedcommunications.

For Marketing - We may use your email address (subject to your unsubscribe options underapplicable law), mailing address, phone number (subject to your opt-in or outoptions under applicable law), or browser cookies or tags (subject toapplicable opt-outs) to send or show you targeted or personalized marketingmessages or offers for Rakuten SL.  Inaddition to the opt-outs offered below in Section 5, if you no longerwish to receive promotional email communications from us, you may unsubscribeby clicking the UNSUBSCRIBE link in the email message.  

To Provide You Customer Service - We use your information in order to respondappropriately to your inquiries, complaints, or requests communicated to us throughour Site or otherwise, including to provide you information about ourServices.  

To improve our Site, Services, and marketing -  Weuse information about your use of our Site and Services, your interaction withour marketing and social media, as well as your feedback to analyze, evaluateand make improvements to our product and Services offerings, our Site,including content and functionality, and assess the effectiveness of ourmarketing.  

To comply with legal obligations - We may use your information asnecessary to comply with obligations we have under applicable laws to compile,maintain, and file required records or reports, to cooperate with regulators orlaw enforcement agencies as to official investigations or respond to legalprocesses.  

To exercise or protect our rights - We may use yourinformation to exercise or protect our legal rights, such as prosecuting or defendingagainst intellectual property (copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret,counterfeiting) actions, fraud claims, or violations of our or third parties’ rights.  

To Protect You, Others, and Our Business - We may use collected information to limitspam, malware, and other malicious online activities and security risks, and toimprove and enforce our Site security measures, or otherwise as necessary toprotect the safety, security, and legal rights of persons and/or Rakuten SL orto enforce our agreements or policies.  


Disclosure for Business and Commercial Purposes.  We may disclose all the categories ofinformation collected for our business or commercial purposes, including thefollowing:  

Disclosure to Vendors/Service Providers

We may discloseyour personal information as necessary to vendors, service providers and otherthird parties that perform services for us, for a business purpose, includingbusiness operations-related services such as platform support, other IT services,and analytics.

With Our Affiliates and Subsidiaries

We may shareinformation that we collect about you with our affiliates and subsidiaries orother Rakuten-related entities in order redirect or resolve inquiries from youregarding services that they provide.

To Comply with Law

We may discloseinformation about you in response to an official request for information, if webelieve disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law orlegal process, including lawful requests by public authorities to meet nationalsecurity or law enforcement requirements.

To Protect Rakuten SL or Others

We may discloseyour information if we believe your actions are inconsistent with our useragreements or policies, if we believe you have violated the law, or to protectthe rights, property, and safety of Rakuten SL or others.

In Connection with a Business Transaction

We may discloseyour information in confidence in connection with, or during negotiations of,any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or aportion of our business by another company. If there are changes to theinternal structure of our parent company so that another Rakuten SL affiliateor subsidiary takes on the role of centrally collecting, using or disclosingpersonal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, that affiliate orsubsidiary will handle your information in accordance with this Privacy Policyin place of Rakuten SL.

Sale of Personal Information.  We do notsell your personal information for money, but we may permit certain of ourvendors to use tracking technologies for the purposes of effectuating ourtargeted advertising and marketing to you on third-party sites and services,measuring ad response, analyzing your use of our Site and Services, andcustomizing our Site and Services in ways that may be deemed a “sale” ofpersonal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018(CCPA).   To the extent we or our vendorsuse such technologies on the Site or our Services, we offer an opt-out below inSection 5.  With respect to NevadaSB220’s amendment of the Nevada Privacy of Information Collected on theInternet from Consumers Act, Rakuten SL does not sell for monetaryconsideration the personal information of Nevada consumers for the purpose ofresale or re-license to other entities.

In addition to the above listed disclosures, we mayalso share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably beused by recipients to identify you.


Consumers residing in California are afforded certainadditional rights with respect to their personal information under theCalifornia Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) (California Civil Code Section 1798.100 et seq.) and the “Shinethe Light” Law (California Civil Code Section 1798.83).  If you are a California resident, thissection applies to you.

Description of Your Privacy-Related Rights

If you are a California resident who meetsthe CCPA’s definition of “Consumer,” you are entitled to the following rights:

Rightto Know and Access:  You have theright to request that we provide certain information to you about ourcollection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months.  Once we receive and confirm your verifiableconsumer request (see Exercising Right to Know, Access, and Delete below), wewill disclose to you:

·      The specific pieces of personal information wecollected about you (also called a data portability request).

·      The categories of sources from which wecollected your personal information.

·      The categories of third parties with whom weshared your personal information, including:

Rightto Opt-Out of Sale of Your Personal Information: We offer an opt-out fromthe use of cookies and other tracking technologies in connection with our Site,which may in some cases constitute the sale of your personal information underthe CCPA or other privacy laws. Rightto Non-Discrimination:  We will notdiscriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.  Unless otherwise permitted by the CCPA, wewill not:

Your request must be verifiable.  In order for us to verify your identity, wewill need to match particular information that you provide in your request withdata that we maintain and have determined to be reliable for the purposes ofverification.  We will only use personalinformation provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’sidentity or authority to make the request. If your request is to know or access specific pieces of personalinformation, you will be required to sign a declaration under penalty of perjurythat the you are the consumer whose personal information is the subject of therequest.

Only you, or someone legally authorized toact on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to yourpersonal information.  We may require anyagent making a request on your behalf to provide a written permission from youto submit a request on your behalf and to verify their identity andauthorization to do business in California, or demonstrate that he or she haspower of attorney in connection with your request to know, access or deleteyour personal information.

Shine theLight

California law permits residents ofCalifornia to request certain details about how their information is sharedwith third parties for direct marketing purposes.  We do not share your information with thirdparties for their direct marketing purposes.

Do Not Track

Rakuten SL does not currently take actions torespond to Do Not Track signals because a uniform technological standard hasnot yet been developed.  We continue to monitorand review new technologies and will modify this policy accordingly in theevent of a change.

Notice regarding informationof minors


This Site and any related servicesare intended for adults over 16 years of age, and we do not knowingly collector sell personal information of minors under 16 years of age withoutaffirmative authorization or without verifiable opt-in consent from a parentfor those under age 13.


7.           RETENTION

We may retaininformation about you for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposesdescribed Section 3. Some of your information may be retained in oursystems even after you request your information to be deleted in order tocomply with our obligations under applicable law, collect fees owed, resolvedisputes, enforce our legal rights, otherwise use internally in a lawful mannerthat is reasonably aligned with the expectations of the consumer or compatiblewith the context in which the information was provided, and to undertake anyinvestigations necessitated by the foregoing.


We have implementedtechnical and organizational measures to provide a level of securityappropriate to the risk to the Personal Information that we process. Thesemeasures are aimed at preserving the ongoing integrity and protecting theconfidentiality of users’ Personal Information. We evaluate these measures on aregular basis to confirm that they continue to maintain and apply anappropriate level of security.


We may changethis Privacy Policy from time to time.  Ifwe make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of thepolicy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such asadding a statement to our website homepage).
