Bethany O'Neil

Bethany is responsible for building and creating the people experience at ShipNetwork. Under her leadership, she takes a hands-on approach to making ShipNetwork widely recognized as a place where people are valued, appreciated, supported, and enriched.

Overseeing all aspects of ShipNetwork's Human Resources, Bethany helps to remove as many of the people-related roadblocks that stand in the way of success, both on an individual and a business level. Core to her strategy is knowing that people are the most valuable asset in any organization. Bethany is determined in her pursuit to make sure that everyone is supported, fulfilled, and engaged so that they are in a position to give their best.

With over 15 years of experience in finance and software organizations during high-growth phases, Bethany can be described in 3 words: pragmatic, driven, and reliable. In addition, she is also a recognized CliftonStrengths Certified Career Coach where she serves to focus on an individual's unique attributes that, when leveraged appropriately, can take anyone to the next level of success. One of the most rewarding parts of Bethany's career is helping individuals to uncover those strengths and learn how to use them to find deep, satisfying success.

Not bound to just enrich the lives of people, Bethany is an advocate for animals too. She works to support programs that care for homeless and abused pets while also generously fostering dogs in need of good homes while they wait for their forever homes.

Bethany received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and holds an MBA from the University of Utah. She lives in Salt Lake City with her husband, two children, two puppies, and five cats. The majority of her spare time revolves around her two young kids, so her activities and hobbies usually involve trips to the zoo, the museum, and any and all parks. With trusted family close by, Bethany and her husband have recently discovered that spending time away from the kids is perfectly normal and healthy. They are getting more comfortable reacquainting themselves with their own hobbies including bicycling, reading, and enjoying uninterrupted meals.
